 This Metal Art expresses graceful fluidity.
Intending to delight the heart and utterly captivate.

These become 'Living' pieces based on labor intensive techniques.

Each weld is cleaned, polished and smoothed.
Steel sheets are manually ground or buffed to catch the light . .
As in the Dolphin pieces or the Dragonfly.

Light literally dances on each work.

Sheets of metal are hand-cut.  Ideas drawn and drawn again.
Combining delicate applications of heat or of patinas
to create a pleasing dynamic effect.

The finish is an Industrial grade (automotive
industry) of Clear Coat professionally applied.
Lending intensity to color and appearance.

NOW~! expressions have widened to include
the SouthWest. This inspiration is based on the
extended time I lived in Arizona and sold many
works of art throughout New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado.
Those ideas continued to inspire me.
By combining the right mixture of materials and applications
this area of exploration is revisited.
